Over the weekend, I was surfing Netflix and stumbled upon the movie Wish Man, which was just released this past year, in 2019. Wish Man tells the story of Arizona motorcycle cop Frank Shankwitz, who founded the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
I didn't even know the film was going to be about the Make-A-Wish Foundation. That detail isn't explicitly revealed until the very end of the movie, and the title alone didn't give me any clues. All I know is that I kept watching, glued to the screen, because it was just that good. Very well done.
I highly recommend seeing Wish Man if you get the chance. It's a very powerful and moving story. Highly inspirational and uplifting. And I'm not going to hide it - I was moved to tears with some scenes. See it if you can.
